CARICOM and the COVID-19 pandemic

During the CARICOM End of Year Regional Press Conference, hosted on Tuesday December 14, 2021, CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr Carla Barnett, addressed questions related to the impact of the pandemic on the region’ development agenda, and the successes or failures of attempts to achieve coordinated Caribbean action.

She also responded to a question on whether, like the OECS Authority, CARICOM had sought and received independent advice on the question of vaccine mandates.
